
Our Story
As told by Cathy and Chad Rogers
(Co-founders of RawRawLand / Chicken Snapz)

RawRawLand was born in our family kitchen when my mom, Cathy, was searching for a clean, organic snack for my dad, Jeff. At the time, he was recovering from a quadruple-bypass heart surgery and craving something salty and crunchy – but everything on the shelves was packed with sugar, salt, or ultra-processed ingredients.
Cathy took matters into her own hands, experimenting with real, whole foods – eventually pounding and dehydrating organic chicken in the oven to create the very first batches of what would become Chicken Snapz. It took two days to make a single batch, but when Jeff tried it, he said, "This is it! We need to get this into stores."
As her son, I watched the idea come to life. Working in real estate, I'm constantly on the go – and staying fit and eating clean are essential to how I live and work. But I could never find a high-protein snack that was healthy, satisfying, and actually convenient. That's when I realized my mom's homemade chicken crisps weren't just great – they were exactly what the market was missing.

Together, my mom and I spent nearly a decade perfecting the recipe, sourcing USDA-certified organic ingredients, and navigating the approval process. That journey became Chicken Snapz – a clean, crunchy, protein-packed snack made from real ingredients and a whole lot of family purpose.
Oh – and our dogs are completely obsessed with them too.
